Birthday Buddy List

DOMINICK – 12 years old in January

Dominick recently was placed in the same foster home as his twin brother, and he’s thrilled to reconnect with him. Dominick has a great sense of humor and loves to make people laugh. He also likes helping in the kitchen, trying new foods, listening to music, and playing outside. He’s been in foster care for over a year. For his birthday, Dominick would love a portable CD boom box and music CDs from Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, or Wow Hits 2011 or 2012. A McDonalds gift card or a gift card to the St. Louis Arch would be a terrific birthday present, as would clothing (tops in boys size 10-12, bottoms in boys size 14-16, and shoes in size 5 youth). Dominick’s birthday would also be a happy one if he opened up a Disney movie or an arcade game for a PC computer on his special day.

JOHN – 19 years in February

John is a developmentally disabled young man who has been in foster care almost his entire life. John loves it when staff reads to him or play cards with him. For his birthday, John would enjoy DVDs of action or science related movies. John could also use t-shirts (men’s large) and sweatpants (men’s small). To get to John in time for his birthday, gifts should be donated by February 5.

DALLISHA – 11 years in February

Dallisha is a very outgoing and talkative girl. She likes to take care of her younger siblings. Dallisha would be so excited to receive a purple bike, jewelry, or gift cards for her birthday. Really “anything purple” would be fabulous! To get to Dallisha in time for her birthday, gifts should be donated by Feb. 7.

DEVIN – 12 years old in February - matched with a Buddy!

Devin is interest in everything MIZZOU! He also likes country music and PS3 games. This is Devin’s second time in foster care and at this time, he has been in care for 6 months. He is a very quiet person who is very helpful with his younger siblings. Devin would enjoy receiving any MIZZOU gear or a nice playstation 3 game.

DEVON – 20 years old in February

Devon is a well-mannered young man who leaves a good impression on everyone he meets. He enjoys music and is very interested in music production and singing. Devon has been in foster care since 2001. A Wal-Mart or Burlington Coat Factory gift card would be a perfect gift for Devon on his 20^th birthday.

KAHARI – 14 years old in February

This special teen has been in foster care for three years. Kahari is a fun loving, outgoing teenager who loves to spend time with his friends. Some of his favorite activities are talking on the phone and joining conversations on Facebook. Kahari would really appreciate gift cards to restaurants, the Galleria Mall, and movie passes. Anything that lets Kahari spend time with others would make it a great birthday for him.

LARRY – 17 years old in February - matched with a Buddy!

Larry is a smart young man who has tested high enough in school to be placed in college courses. His particular interest is computer technology and he is thinking about majoring in this field in the near future. He has been in foster care for 10 years. Larry is a fashion “guru” who loves to find unique clothing to fit his personality. Gift cards from Macy’s, Game Stop, Aeropostale or American Eagle would be perfect for Larry so he could shop for clothes on his birthday. To get to Larry in time for his birthday, gifts should be donated by February 10.

LOGAN – 14 years in February - matched with a Buddy!

Logan was recently placed in a new home after losing his previous foster mom to cancer. He is a lovable and helpful teen who has been in foster care for 3 years. He says he is in desperate need of clothing now that he’s moved from a rural area to the “big city.” For his birthday, Logan really hopes to receive gift cards to Aeropostale, American Eagle, Macy’s, or Journeys so he can get some fashionable clothing for himself

ALEXANDER – 12 years in February - matched with a Buddy!

Alexander is an outgoing, friendly, and very active young man, who LOVES electronic gadgetry! He’s been in foster care for over 4 years. For his birthday this year, Alexander would love to receive an MP3 player or a gift card to Walmart so he can purchase a video game

CIERA – 19 years in March

Ciera is a very intelligent young lady who has been in foster care for 8 years. She just started her first semester of college! Her major is interior design and she would greatly appreciate any birthday gift to help her decorate and organize her first apartment. A gift card to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Target, TJ Maxx, or Home Goods would help make her feel at home in her new living space. To get to Ciera in time for her birthday, gifts should be donated by February 20.

ANTHONY – 8 years in March

Anthony is really developing his reading skills this year! In addition to reading books, he enjoys music, cars, and sports. Anthony has been in foster care for over 3 years. Anthony would be very excited on his birthday if he received Ironhide Transformers, Beyblades, and age appropriate books and DVDs. To get to Anthony in time for his birthday, gifts should be donated by February 27.

MONET – 17 years in March

Monet is very talented – she sings, dances, and draws, and she writes beautiful poems and short stories. She’s a very outgoing teen who has been in foster care for 3 years. She hopes to play on her school’s lacrosse team this year. Like many teenage girls, Monet likes to look her best. Gift cards or clothes from Aeropostale or Hollister would be terrific birthday gift for Monet (size large or 13/14). She would also really enjoy lotions, soaps, and perfumes as well as earrings for her birthday this year. To get to Monet in time for her birthday, gifts should be donated by March 12.

DAVEON – 12 years in March

This young man just entered foster care a few weeks ago. Daveon’s favorite sports are basketball and running track. He also likes playing video games. To brighten up Daveon’s first birthday in foster care, he would like red/black/grey tennis shoes (size 6.5), a DVD that shows NCAA basketball games, a remote control truck, and his favorite treat – Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. To get to Daveon in time for his birthday, gifts should be donated by March 14.

KAINE – 16 years in April

Kaine is an artist and loves to draw in his free time. He also enjoys playing basketball, and like most teens, likes to listen to music. Kaine has been in foster care for over a year. For his sweet sixteen, Kaine would love to get new art supplies, a red zip-up hoodie (size men’s XL), and a gift card to Walmart so he can pick out something special for himself. Kaine is a diabetic, and special snacks for diabetics would be a fun “extra” for his birthday. To get to Kaine in time for his birthday, gifts should be donated by March 20.
