ERICA – 19 years old in July

Erica is an independent, empowered, personable young woman who loves music and is interested in becoming a video producer someday. She is interested in stories about ghosts and other spooky things and also likes exotic animals and sharks. Erica has been in foster care for the past 2 years. For her birthday, Erica would love receive an MP3 player. She would also like books, DVDs or other items related to ghosts, sharks and/or exotic animals.

ASHLEY – 17 years old in August

Ashley already has an exciting future planned for herself – she wants to serve our country in the Air Force and become a pilot! Ashley has been in the foster care system for the past two years. For her birthday, she would love to receive a gift card to Target or Wal-Mart so she can pick out something special for herself.

AUTUMN – 13 years old in August - matched with a Buddy!

Autumn is coming up on a big birthday, number 13, so she will now be an “official” teenager. Autumn has spent the past 2 years in the foster care system. She loves music, everything but classical, and she recently read the first two books of the Stephenie Meyer “Twilight” series. Autumn would love to receive the last two books in the Twilight series (Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) or other Young Adult books for her birthday. A gift from Bath and Body Works, jewelry, or a nail polish set would also make help make this new teenager’s birthday really special.

STEVEN – 11 years old in August

Steven is a very artistic guy who loves music and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a big football and basketball fan. Steven has been in the foster care system for 7 years. To make Steven’s 11^th birthday shine, he would love birthday gifts of PSP games from Game Stop, arts and crafts kits, toy cars, and delicious snacks for those night time munchies such as candy and chips.

DIAMON – 7 years old in August

Diamon, who’s been in the foster care system for 3 years, loves to color, sing and dance. She’s a total girly girl! She wants a room makeover for her birthday with pink, purple and African-American princess room accessories. She would also love any other girly toys. If you’re a girly girl – Diamon is the perfect Birthday Buddy for you!

ASHLEY – 17 years old in August

Ashley loves Justin Bieber, zebras, and the colors pink and orange. She also is an enthusiastic volleyball player. Ashley has been in the foster care system for 3 years. For her birthday this year, Ashley would really love to personalize her new bedroom space in pink, orange and zebra stripes. She would love bedroom accessories for her room, such as lamps, wall hangings, frames, a bulletin board, Justin Bieber posters, jewelry organizers, etc. She also really wants a volleyball net and a regulation size volleyball.

STEVEN- 6 years old in September

Steven is a sweet, quiet little guy who loves to play with friends. He shares well and is a good friend. He loves to give hugs to everyone and is always very polite. When he is playing, his favorite toys are action figures and exciting games. For his birthday, Steven would love to receive anything Ironman or the Last Airbender, a hand held video game, Legos, games, or action figures. He is very excited for his birthday and hopes to get a few new toys!

EMMANUAL- 3 years old in September

Emmanual is a caring, happy little guy who loves to sing and dance. He is very playful and loves Barney, Diego, and Sesame Street. For his 3^rd birthday, Emmanual would love to receive any age-appropriate learning or educational toys, Hot Wheels cars, or Legos. Emmanual has been in foster care since birth and is a very cheerful boy.

MORGAN- 16 years old in September

Morgan is a very charismatic, athletic young man. He is going into his sophomore year of high school and is already on the varsity football team! He loves to play basketball, baseball, and football. For his ‘sweet sixteen’ birthday, Morgan would like gift cards to Target or American Eagle. He would appreciate clothes from American Eagle or anything having to do with football or the Rams.

DEVONTA- 12 years old in September

Devonta is a sweetheart. He loves spending one on one time with the adults in his life and is very caring. He loves bowling, baseball, and going out to eat. He loves superheroes, watching cartoons, and going to Six Flags. For his 12^th birthday, Devonta would love a hangman game, anything Power Rangers, Hot Wheels cars, a blue kickball, handheld video games, a gravity ball, Ironman, Superhero Squad, or “building games” like Legos.

BJ – 20 years old in October

BJ has spent most of his 20 years in the foster care system. She’s going to be a high school senior this year and is very excited about graduating! BJ loves getting dressed up, doing her hair, and going out with her friends. She also likes doing arts and crafts projects and writing letters. For her birthday, BJ has asked for art supplies such as markers, pens, colored pencils, construction paper, beads and writing tablets. She would also love to receive fingernail polish, puzzles,and anything Tinkerbell.

WILLIAM- 5 years old in November

William is a vibrant, funny, outgoing boy who loves to play. He loves his friends and also likes to swim, especially on hot summer days! He is very active and sociable, and loves hugs and kisses. For his 5^th birthday, William would love anything Dora the Explorer or Diego, game, action figures, Legos, and movies. William has been in foster care for 2 years and is looking forward to a great birthday!

ANTONIO- 14 years old in November

Antonio is a very quiet young man who functions at about a 5 year old level. He is very sweet and lovable. He is caring and loves to play, especially with wrestling toys. For his birthday, Antonio would like a wrestling book bag, wrestling t-shirts, or wrestling action figures. Antonio has been in foster care for 10 years.
