Old Bags™ for Forever Families Minimize
 
Old Bags™ is an annual fundraiser held on the fourth Tuesday of April by the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition.  The party features a silent auction of new and like-new designer handbags.  All proceeds are used to recruit foster and adoptive families for the over 4,000 children in Metro St. Louis who are waiting for a “forever family.” 
 
Attendees enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while bidding on hundreds of designer handbags, including Gucci, Chanel, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, Cole Haan, Coach, and more!

2010 Fourth Annual Old Bags™ Minimize
Please join us on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 in the Living World - St. Louis Zoo at 6:00 p.m.
 
Last year, Colette Boylen was the lucky winner of a beautiful new spring Coach bag hidden in one of the mystery bags!  Chris Pennell was the BIG winner of the Old Bags™ raffle which was a week's stay at a beautiful condo in Gulf Shores, Alabama (donated by a Friend of the Coalition) and a straight-from-Paris Chanel tote bag full of Clarins Paris skincare products and classic Chanel sunglasses (donated by Saks Fifth Avenue).
 
The Zoo chef, Jerry Chollet, and his catering staff prepared a wonderful assortment of delicious appetizers, which are sure to please again this year!  Lake Forest Confections donated wonderful chocolates as well.
