Become a Foster Friend! Minimize
 

The Foster Friends’ mission is to enrich the lives of children in foster care by hosting fun events and activities to help make their time in foster care as enjoyable as possible.  Helping foster kids... one friend at a timeTM. 

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP:
  • Interact directly with foster/adoptive children through special volunteer opportunities.
  • Organize and support Parents’ Night Out events, providing supervision to foster/adoptive children so their parents can enjoy a night (or day) off. 
  • Receive exclusive opportunities to support foster children who are being adopted, as well as invitations to participate in other Coalition events. 
  • Invited to attend regular meetings.
  • Receive a Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition t-shirt.
TO BECOME A MEMBER:
To become a member of Foster Friends, individuals must:
  • Be at least 21 years old;
  • Provide Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition with a current criminal background screening from the Family Care Safety Registry showing “no finding reported”; and
  • Pay a $40 annual membership fee (your membership fee pays for the Parents’ Night Out events and other Foster Friends programs).  Mail your registration fee by mailing a check to Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, 1750 South Brentwood Blvd., Suite 210, Saint Louis, MO 63144.  Or click here to pay online.

Upcoming Foster Friends Opportunities Minimize

Foster Friends have fabulous Parents' Day Out events planned at Epiphany Bowling Lanes, Circus Flora, and NASCAR Speedpark for 2011.   They also will be coordinating giveaways for the kids twice a year at a church in Crestwood.  If you'd like to join the fun, please contact Shelley Thomas-Benke at 314.367.8373 or shelleythomasbenke@foster-adopt.org.
