In October 2007, FACC began a new support group for adopted and those preparing to be adopted tweens and teens. The program is called, “Real Talk.” The youth will gain a better understanding of adoption and also have an opportunity to discuss their unique concerns.

Exploring the emotions associated with the abandonment or loss of a biological family and the acceptance into an adopted family.

 

Dealing with an adopted child’s worse fears and apprehensions.
