| Amber - A Place to Call Home
A loving child who cares a great deal for others, Amber deserves a forever family that will give her as much love as she has to share with them.
Amber’s eighth grade teacher says she is a delight to have in class. She gets good grades by working diligently and focusing on her school work before playing. She’s very proud of her grades – and rightly so! Amber has also enjoyed making many new friends at school.
At home, Amber is very helpful, and often does chores and helps out around the house without being asked. Amber enjoys rollerblading, video and computer games, basketball, fishing, camping, horseback riding, board games, reading, and her toys (especially her family of stuffed animals!). When she was younger, Amber really enjoyed gymnastics lessons and art classes. She learned and lot and thrived with the one-on-one attention she received. She hopes to continue these lessons in the future. In addition to gymnastics and art, Amber loves animals.
“I want to live on a farm with tons of cats and horses,” she says. “I’ve taken horseback riding lessons, and I really want to do that again.” It was from these lessons that Amber developed a great love for horses. “I want to have a horse ranch someday where anyone can go riding,” she says. Amber's ideal parents would be a "nice." She longs for the consistency and love that a forever family would provide. For more information on Amber, please call 314.367.8373.
