George - A Place to Call Home Minimize

George (15) has no trouble meeting new people and finding a common interest. He is very articulate. George likes soccer, golf, swimming, and playing any sport. He also enjoys funny movies.  He is open minded and willing to move out of State to be a part of a family.

George stated that when it comes to a family relationship, he feels that honesty, respect, and dedication are the most important qualities. He loves being busy and would prefer a family who can involve him in their community, their church, and their lives. Amanda - Wendy's Wonderful Kids Minimize
Amanda (14) is described as sociable, bright and fun to be around. She makes friends easily and interacts well with her peers and other children.  Amanda enjoys attention and is responsive to praise.  She is making A’s and B’s in school and very proud of her grades.  Amanda enjoys many activities including singing, dancing and socializing in group activities.

Samantha - Wendy's Wonderful Kids Minimize
Samantha (14) is sweet young lady who has a smile that will light up the darkest room. Talented and creative she loves to express herself through art, and she can frequently be found sketching, drawing or coloring. She is also a bookworm who can be found curled up with a good book. In school Samantha takes pride in her excellent penmanship and her favorite subject is science.
 
Samantha is friendly and, like most tweens, somewhat shy around new people. Deontrae - A Place to Call Home Minimize

Deontrae (10) is a great little guy who would make an awesome addition to a loving family. He is very mannerable and polite, and has a smile that can brighten up a room. Deontrae enjoys drawing, reading, and sports (especially football and basketball). Deontrae is very smart and loves school.  He states that math and writing are his best subjects.  Deontrae said three things he likes about himself are that he is intelligent, that he excels at his school work, and is great at art.  When he grows up, Deontrae said he wants to be a firefighter.

Blaine - Extreme Recruitment Minimize
Blaine (16) is a good natured young man who has severe mental retardation and severe developmental delays.  He remembers and recognizes the people in his life and his face lights into a happy smile for the people who care about him.
 
Blaine loves water activities, especially swimming, and any other action activities.  He goes to the YMCA for swimming with his foster family.  This easy going young man gets along well with other children and adults.  To communicate, He points at what he wants to make his needs known.  Blaine needs a very special family who is willing to devote much time to his care. He would reward his caregivers with a dimpled smile that would bring a smile to their face.

Ashley - Wendy's Wondeful Kids Minimize
Ashley (14) has been praised for her playful spirit and out-spoken personality.  She thrives when given positive attention, and responds by showing compassion for others and lending a helping hand.  Having and being a friend is something Ashley enjoys and she takes pride in her successes at school.

David & Deja - A Place to Call Home Minimize
David and Deja are a “dynamic duo” who are waiting to be adopted.  David (10) is funny, polite and has a great smile that “just doesn’t quit!”  David’s favorite school subject is science.  He appreciates help with homework, especially in spelling, which is his least favorite subject.  David enjoys sports and other outdoor activities, especially basketball, swimming, bowling and kickball.

Ar'Mondre - Wendy's Wonderful Kids Minimize
Ar’Mondre (11) is soft-spoken with warm brown eyes.  He is initially shy around new people, but gradually becomes engaging and talkative.  Ar’Mondre is artistic and creative, and likes to build things.  His independence and sense of humor tend to make Ar’Mondre stand out in a group.  Ar’Mondre is intensely loyal and he is protective of the people in his life, although his behavior does not always portray this.  He enjoys cooking and baking, and his favorite fast food is McDonald’s.  Ar’Mondre wants to be a police officer when he grows up.

Play Video  Christian (16) is an eager young man, strongly desiring a forever family. Christian has a warming smile, and a sincere heart.  He is friendly, thoughtful and has a great need to please others. Christian has been successful at acquiring positive adult relationships quickly and values them immensely.

Jamaine - A Place to Call Home Minimize

Jamaine (15) enjoys being on the go. He can be very personable and easy to engage in interaction. Jamaine enjoys watching and playing football, basketball and baseball. It's difficult for him to narrow down a favorite team. He enjoys drawing and is amazingly creative. Jamaine is very meticulous about his appearance, as he loves clothes and shoes. His favorite food is chicken (prepared just about any way). His most winning attribute is his sense of humor.

Jervon - Project Teen Plus Minimize
Jervon (15) is a sweet, loving boy who has been waiting patiently for a forever family.  This teen says that he “gets along with other people” and describes himself as “friendly.”  Jervon’s foster parent agrees saying, “he makes good company.”  Jervon is currently in the 10th grade, whereas he does not have a favorite subject, overall he does well in school with one on one attention.  He is described as a “laid back” kid, although he does like being active. He enjoys activities such as swimming and basketball. He also enjoys dancing and singing.  Like most teenagers, he loves playing video games.

Michael - Wendy's Wonderful Kids Minimize
Michael (11) is an intelligent, inquisitive soft spoken boy who desires a forever family. Although at first shy, Michael loves playing football and playing outside. Along with most boys his age, his other favorites are video games, watching sports on television, and cartoons. Michael enjoys new experiences like going to museums, or pottery. McDonald’s is one of his favorite picks; he especially loves a McFlurry for dessert.  Ideally Michael would need a two parent family or a single parent family with a strong father figure where Michael is the youngest or only child in the family.

Play Video Play Video   Carlandis (15) likes to spend time outdoors, and enjoys playing basketball and baseball. He would like to go to Hawaii some day, and thinks it would be “cool” to learn how to surf.  Carlandis is strong academically, and enjoys math, but his grades do not always reflect his abilities.  He enjoys socializing with friends, but also likes quiet, private time.

Jasmine & Johnetta - Wendy's Wonderful Kids Minimize

Jasmine & Johnetta are a spunky pair of sisters who would thrive in a supportive and loving family.  Jasmine (12) is an outgoing, social butterfly who loves to sing and dance. An enthusiastic student Jasmine loves to read and write. She has a great sense of humor and gets along well with other children. Jasmine is also patient and nurturing big sister.

Johnette (10) is an active, affectionate child and, like her older sister, loves to sing and dance and play with dolls. Johnetta is a whiz at video games and prides herself on completing her school homework.
