AYDEN – 16 years old in May
Ayden is celebrating his 16^th birthday this month! He has been in care for six years. Ayden is a laid-back kid who likes to spend time at home. He is a fan of playing video games and going shopping. He is a very hard worker and likes to learn new skills, like working with his hands. He would love a gift card to the movie theater to see some movies this summer for his birthday.

We’re looking for a Birthday Buddy donor to make a $100 donation for Ayden’s birthday gifts.  The Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition will purchase the gifts online and have them shipped directly to him.

DAMANESHIA – 16 years old in June
Damaneshia is celebrating her sweet 16! She has been in care for six years. She is a talkative, playful girl. Damaneshia loves to draw and is a funny joker. She would be thrilled to get sketching and drawing supplies, gift cards, new pants and shorts, and new shirts.

JACOB – 8 years old in June
Jacob is a busy, active kid! He has been in care for almost five years. Jacob loves to be outside running, riding his bike, riding his skateboard, and being creative. He is good at art, loves to read books like “The Bad Guys”, and enjoys spending time with his family. He loves electronics and currently owns a tablet, kids smartwatch, and digital camera. This summer he is going to 4 different overnight camps and is looking forward to spending 2 days a week exploring the outdoors at the local day camp. For his birthday, he would love to receive new tennis shoes, new clothes, and new art supplies.

This 20-year-old youth in foster care is now living in her own apartment. Her team is so proud of the progress she’s made to become independent! She would like to be able to purchase some items for her apartment that will make it feel more like her home and show her personality and style.

Going to Six Flags St. Louis would be so exciting for Gabriel! He has never been to Six Flags before and this would be his first experience on a roller coaster! This is a great opportunity for him to have fun times bonding with his new foster parents and the other children who live in his foster home. Getting to enjoy an experience like this is a huge deal to children in foster care…and their foster family!
