Little Wishes, Big Impact

Little Wishes gives children impacted by foster care opportunities that spark joy and build confidence. A Little Wish could be a week at camp, a soccer ball, art supplies, music lessons, or a new bike.

Give kids the chance to explore, play, and dream.

These experiences help kids explore their interests, develop skills, and simply enjoy being a kid. Last year, the generosity of our community made 4,593 wishes come true. Together, we can create thousands more moments of laughter, learning, and belonging.

Bryant- Church camp

Bryant is a thoughtful youth who is making meaningful strides as he discovers who he is and what he wants for his future. Through a campus ministry, he has found supportive friendships and a sense of belonging that has positively shaped his growth. He would greatly benefit from attending a camp that continues to nurture his faith, relationships, and confidence as he prepares for adulthood.

Football has been an important part of 11 year old Ryan’s life. Through it, he’s gained strong friendships and meaningful and important connections with his coaches. His Little Wish is for the fees so he can keep playing on the team, continue building his football skills, and be part of something that makes him feel like he belongs.

The D.J. Welch Little Wishes Program was endowed by Jim Welch in honor of his late wife, D.J. Welch. D.J. was one of the Coalition’s earliest, most enthusiastic Little Wish supporters. We are thankful that Jim continues to honor her memory through ongoing Little Wishes support.
