Please join us in saying a very warm “Congratulations” to James “JP” Perry, the Coalition’s new board president! JP serves as General Partner responsible for Canada Wealth & Field Management at Edward Jones.
JP was first introduced to the Coalition by his colleague, Joe Bergan. JP quickly realized that our mission of serving children and families impacted by foster care aligned with his own passions, citing a deep connection to the work and what it stands for through a family journey of his own.
“I’ve seen the Coalition do amazing things in my short time on the board so far,” JP reflects. He continues, “It’s a leading organization when it comes to how it partners with families, the state, and federal and local governments. The Coalition truly develops its employees to contribute to the greater good, taking responsibility to create the best environment possible for the next generation to grow and thrive.”
In his tenure as Board president, JP’s goals include increasing awareness for the Coalition’s work and the number of families we serve. He is also interested in continuing to develop relationships across the city, state, and nation—reaffirming the Coalition’s place as a leader in child welfare nationwide. We look forward to JP’s leadership and the many ways it will benefit our mission during his tenure as board president.
