$245,679 Raised on Give STL Day!

The 12th annual Give STL Day was a huge success. We beat our goal by more than $100,000!

Our supporters showed up for the Coalition, giving generously of their time and treasure to help us spread the word about our promise to serve 100% of local children entering foster care by 2029. Not some, not most: all. This means that every child who needs our intervention and support will receive it.

This Give STL Day was truly amazing, and we are thrilled to share the following results with you:

  • $245,679 dollars raised, exceeding our goal by $115,679
  • 403 donors made 510 donations
  • First place on the leaderboard for most dollars raised
  • Third place on the leaderboard for most unique donors, earning an additional $500 prize

Each donation made during Give STL Day was doubled by our generous matching donors. Thank you!

The Coalition also celebrated with a variety of social media campaigns. Our supporters embraced our campaign theme of “Fostering Bright Futures,” posting selfies in their sunglasses to raise awareness for our mission. They gave generously during Power Hours to help the Coalition earn a portion of the $100,000 prize pool, and entered to win several fabulous giveaway items.

Our staff and supporters created 17 fundraising teams which raised more than $60,000 of our total. Their leadership and enthusiasm was inspiring! Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition teams dominated the overall Give STL Day fundraiser leaderboard. Two of the top ten teams benefitted the Coalition, taking 6th and 9th place overall. Way go go, teams!

Give STL Day brought so much energy and excitement to our office. We enjoyed team building activities throughout the day, which brought our staff closer together as we rallied together around our campaign.

We truly have the best donors, volunteers, staff, and supporters in the world. Time and time again, you choose to open your hearts to our kids and families. We are humbled and grateful to have had such an incredible Give STL Day. Thank you!
