We’re Here to Help!
We’re here to support our foster, kinship, adoptive, and guardianship caregivers and child welfare professionals! No matter what you need, we will work to find the answer for you:
- Accessing Mental Healthcare: Locating therapy and other mental health services
- Finding Resources: Finding community services to help with placement stability
- Advocacy: Navigating the child welfare, family court, educational, and other systems
Eligibility
The Coalition CareLine is exclusively available to foster, kinship, adoptive, and guardianship caregivers, as well as child welfare professionals.
Program Goals
Our main goal is to connect foster and adoptive families to immediate support, stabilize placements, and provide holistic care for children impacted by foster care.
What to Expect
When families contact the Coalition CareLine, we conduct an intake and assessment to understand their strengths, needs, and family dynamics. Based on this, we create a personalized support plan, which may include regular check-ins, assistance navigating the child welfare system, advocating at meetings or hearings, and providing emotional support.
Assistance includes but is not limited to:
- Behavioral crisis coaching
- Community resources
- Virtual check-ins and support groups
- Telehealth access
- Medication and pharmacy delivery
- Government assistance
- Financial, education, and food resources
- Mental health support
