Holiday Little Wishes Requests

It’s time to register for the Little Wishes holiday program!

Thanks to KSDK 5 On Your Side and thousands of generous donors, children impacted by foster care can receive special holiday gifts.

Who is Eligible?

• Children who live in St. Louis City or the MO counties of St. Louis, Jefferson, St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin, Warren, or IL counties of Bond, Clinton, Washington, Madison, St. Clair, Monroe, or Randolph
• Children who are currently in the foster care system, or were in foster care and now live in one of these counties with their adoptive or guardianship family

Step 1

Look at your Coalition Caregiver ID, which can be found above your address on the outside of the newsletter you received from the post office.

Step 2

Find a safe address to provide for gift delivery. When you submit your online Little Wishes holiday program request, you’ll be asked if you wish to supply a special address specifically for us to use when shipping holiday gifts. Some shippers leave boxes at the front door! We receive calls every year from caregivers who didn’t receive gifts that were shipped to them. Unfortunately, we can’t replace gifts that were delivered. If your home address has a P.O. Box number, please give us an actual address for the Little Wishes holiday program, because some shippers will require it.

Step 3

Pull together all of the information you’ll need so you can complete your online request. You’re required to provide the name and phone number for each child’s current foster care case manager or adoption/guardianship subsidy worker. We WILL verify this information.

Step 4 (Missouri Residents)

Choose gifts! Each child who qualifies for the Little Wishes holiday program may choose one (1) gift from the white sheets of the catalog. Children ages eight (8) and older who are CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE should also choose one (1) gift from the blue sheet.

Step 5 (Illinois Residents)

Choose gifts! Each child who qualifies for the Little Wishes holiday program may choose one (1) gift from the white sheets of the catalog. Children ages eight (8) and older who are CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE should also choose one (1) gift from the yellow sheet.

Step 6

Submit your wish requests no later than October 15.

If you have access to the Internet, PLEASE make your Little Wishes holiday program request online! Click on the button below to submit your online request. If you choose to mail in your referral form and it is filled out incorrectly or if inappropriate gifts are chosen, we will select an age-appropriate gift for the child.

*Please note that the wish request site does not work with Internet Explorer. If you only have access to Internet Explorer, you may register by phone on Tuesday, October 7, Tuesday, October 14, or Wednesday, October 15, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. at (314) FOSTER-3.
