We anticipate giving away more than 650 filled backpacks and 150 uniforms
during our annual Back-to-School Drive-Thru Bonanza!

Registration opens July 14 at 8 a.m.
Space is limited, and registration is required. You will need your caregiver ID in order to register. After you register, you will receive an email to reserve your time slot.

Interested in helping with Back-to-School Bonanza to benefit a child in need? Donate $27 to provide a school uniform for a child or shop our Target registry. Details below!
Host a Drive
We only accept backpack and school supplies donations from those who have contacted us to be a Back-to-School Partner. Sign up to host a donation drive! Donation drives are a great fit for companies, churches, or just you and your friends. Contact us to learn more. We’ll confirm your participation and send you a list of school supplies that must be stuffed into each backpack.
Why Back-to-School?
Starting a new year of school is an important milestone in a child’s life. It’s exciting, but can be a little scary. At the Coalition we’re determined to help make the first day of school is a great day of school—and all the days to follow.
Our kids love choosing their own backpack, carefully selecting their favorite design before looking through the supplies inside. Our parents love knowing that their kids will have quality school uniforms to wear throughout the school year. There is a misconception that school uniforms are only required in high-income school districts. In fact, schools across St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis require uniforms, including St. Louis Public Schools, Riverview Gardens, Normandy, Ferguson Florissant, and Hazelwood.
We hope you will join us in supporting our kids and families during the back-to-school season.
Help Our Kids: Donate or Shop Online!
You can support our children and families! Make a $27 donation through our website to provide a child with a school uniform, or shop our Target registry for uniform essentials which will be shipped directly to the Coalition for distribution.
You can feel great knowing that your gift will go directly to a child in need, helping them start the school year strong!
Donations can also be made via check, mailed to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, 1750 S. Brentwood Blvd., St. Louis MO 63144. Please indicate on the memo line that your donation is for Back-to-School Bonanza.
Host a Donation Drive
Our Back-to-School Bonanza Donation Drive Partners donate at least 25 high-quality backpacks filled with a specific list of school supplies. Contact us for tips on how to host a successful donation drive and a list of supplies that should be included in each backpack.
