Missouri is ranked 15th in the country for suicide deaths. This program is designed to reach Missouri residents interested in suicide prevention within their communities. After attending, you will know how to identify risk factors, protective factors, and warning signs of suicide; how to talk to others about suicide; and what resources are available to those experiencing suicidal ideation.
Mental Health Safety Planning
A safety plan is a brief intervention to reduce risk and increase safety for those experiencing suicidal thoughts. In this program, you will learn the six components of a mental health safety plan and how to fill one out for yourself or for someone else.
