Next Steps

After the referral is approved, you will hear from us to schedule a specific time for your student(s). They will receive an email, text, or call confirming their appointment time by February 23rd. Please let the student know.

Please make sure the student checks their school activities and work schedule prior to selecting three preferred appointment times that would work for them. Please plan on spending approximately 1.5 hours at the event to choose a dress. They are able to choose an after-school or weekend option if those times work best for them!

If a student misses their appointment, I will reach out to reschedule if there are available slots. Students and caregivers are always able to reach out to cancel or reschedule if needed.

If you have students impacted by foster care who are in need of tuxedos or suits for prom, please let us know, and we can provide more information.

Project Dream Dress will be located at the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition’s resale store, ReFresh, at 1710 S. Brentwood Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63144. We are on the first level of the Jos E. White office building, across the street from Whole Foods and Nordstrom Rack. More information about parking and the day of details will be provided in emails to come!
