In the past Traylin would have spent a day with his cousins riding rides and having fun at Six Flags. Since coming into care he hasn’t had the chance to go to Six Flags but would really like to before the season is over.
We’re excited that Tiana was connected with a family through KSDK’s 5 On Your Side’s A Place To Call Home and recently moved into this pre-adoptive placement. It’s been a financial struggle for the family to add another child to the home but they are so excited to welcome her and Tiana is itching to finally be able to personalize her bedroom space with posters, vines, and other items that she’s chosen. She’s even put an Amazon wish list together with her dream bedroom.
Aaliviyah wants nothing more than a summer filled with great educational, recreational, and social activities. She’d love the opportunity to do things she loves such as play outside and sports but also explore more of her interests such as STEM programs and even gain skills such as cooking that is offered through the program. This camp will also allow her to build connections to her peers and community.
Like his brother Trevione, Ashton would also like his own bike, one that is 100% his, so he can bring with him if he changes placements to another foster home. A bike would give him a little more freedom, it’s a great way to get around, it’s fun, and it will keep him physically active.
This 20-year-old youth in foster care is now living in her own apartment. Her team is so proud of the progress she’s made to become independent! She would like to be able to purchase some items for her apartment that will make it feel more like her home and show her personality and style.
Going to Six Flags St. Louis would be so exciting for Gabriel! He has never been to Six Flags before and this would be his first experience on a roller coaster! This is a great opportunity for him to have fun times bonding with his new foster parents and the other children who live in his foster home. Getting to enjoy an experience like this is a huge deal to children in foster care…and their foster family!
As the weather improves, Trevione would like his own bike, one that is 100% his, so he can bring with him if he changes placements to another foster home. A bike would give this teenager a little more freedom to see friends, it’s a great way to get around, it’s fun, and it will keep him physically active.
